At River City Rentals, we would highly recommend the Creative Discovery Museum that is right in Downtown. A must-see for kids and so much to learn and discover while at the museum. Another fun adventure is Coolidge Park. In the summer, it's a great way to escape the heat of the summer, and the kids can play in the water pad that has synchronized waterworks. In that same location, there is also a carousel with lots of safari animals that they can ride and you can end the afternoon with a short walk across the bridge to get some ice-cream.
Kayaking on the river, hiking through battlefields, paddle boarding on the lake, fishing for bass or crappie...Opportunities are endless with your kiddos! And staying on our of our Chattanooga vacation homes & cabins makes family trips easier and more comfortable.

Cardboard Hill in Renaissance Park
| Load your kids in the car, grab some cardboard and over to Cardboard Hill! A random, but very fun activity for the whole family! Located adjacent to Coolidge Park, Renaissance Park is a unique place to bring the dogs, have a picnic, and enjoy scenic views of Chattanooga`s downtown. Renaissance Park also includes what is known to locals as "cardboard hill," where people are encouraged to bring their own piece of cardboard to ride and slide all the way down. |
